The kids are already performing amazing feats in them, as Moo actually stood on his own for a few seconds just after I put it on him. Coincidence? I think not.
Jedi feats aside, I love these shirts and they’re the softest cotton – I had my eye on a few of their adult shirts, and I may need to pull that trigger. I’m also on a “shopping local” kick after I went into Fort Langley to visit my favourite card and gift store, only to find it gone as of last week. I’m heartbroken, as they carried the best line of hard-to-find greeting cards (Bald Guy Cards) – Luckily My Cat is People also makes cards.
We need to support our local artisans and stores or they won’t be able to stick around and we’ll be stuck with boring chains that have no originality or personality. (Rant over).
Your challenge this month is to purchase two items from a local retailer, whether it be a coffee, greeting card or your next clothing purchase – seriously – let’s do this! Now excuse me while I go the bakery and eat croissants in the name of shopping local. The Jedi made me do it.
