Lately we’ve shed quite a bit of blood – last week our townhouse gave her a final parting gift and some sweet road rash on her face after she slammed on to the cement steps. She cried quite a bit, but not as much as the following day when she managed to get a stick underneath her thumbnail and ripped it in half. This one still makes me queasy to look at.
So when she started limping this morning shortly after getting her dressed, I wasn’t entirely surprised. I scooped her up and rushed her upstairs to my mom (we’ve moved back home until we purchase our next house) thinking that she had dislocated her hip. She didn’t seem to be in any pain, but was distinctly swinging her leg and her foot was pointing slightly inwards.
After a quick discussion of whether to visit the ER or a Chiropractor, I decided to take off her skirt to get a better look …. That’s when I noticed that her new skirt was actually a skort (shorts built in), and I had shoved both of her legs into one opening. Never a dull day.
But our injury prone Mini is not our only update. Thanks to our amazing realtor, Barb Wilks, who is wonderful and comes highly recommended for both buying & selling, we have sold and moved out of the condo. But if you’re in the market for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom large condo in North Vancouver, my brother is selling his.
